Ενεργειακή Ασφάλεια στο Αιγαίο: Ελληνοτουρκικά ζητήματα και Τουρκική προκλητικότητα
English Abstract_:_The present dissertation focuses on the analysis of Greece’s and Turkey’s energy security, and conflicts and the confrontations between the two countries in the Aegean Sea region, which are mostly the result of Turkish revisionist policy and expansionism. The main purpose of the research is to understand the importance of the energy policy of Greece and Turkey, which has common characteristics, as well as the energy security of the two countries, within a more general climate of conflicts in the Eastern Mediterranean. The present dissertation focuses on the analysis of Greece’s and Turkey’s energy security, and conflicts and the confrontations between the two countries in the Eastern Mediterranean region, which are mostly the result of Turkish revisionist policy and expansionism with a particularly expansive behavior. It is important to mention, that Turkey's behavior follows a specific pattern. Through a historical review, a lot of questions are raising, such as why Turkey follows this policy, what are its future energy goals, and not only that. At the same time, similar questions arise for Greece, which is trying in every way to appease Turkish provocation. In conclusion, Greece and Turkey show common points of energy policy. However, Turkey’s foreign policy and the behavior of expansion violate the rules of international law, frustrating the regular cooperation of the two countries and their development. Within the framework of the critical analysis of Greece-Turkey's energy security and policy, the main pursuits and national interests, as well as the understanding of the differences and conflicts within the Eastern Mediterranean, several academics and scientific books and articles were studied.
Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία επικεντρώνεται στην ανάλυση της ενεργειακής ασφάλειας της Ελλάδας και της Τουρκίας, καθώς και στις συγκρούσεις και αντιπαραθέσεις μεταξύ των δύο χωρών στην περιοχή του Αιγαίου, οι οποίες ως επί το πλείστον είναι αποτέλεσμα της Τουρκικής αναθεωρητικής πολιτικής και του επεκτατισμού. Ο κύριος σκοπός της έρευνας είναι η κατανόηση της σημαντικότητας της ενεργειακής πολιτικής και της ενεργειακής ασφάλειας της Ελλάδας και της Τουρκίας, καθώς και η συμβολή τους στην επίτευξη των συμφερόντων τους, μέσα σε ένα γενικότερο κλίμα συγκρούσεων στην Ανατολική Μεσόγειο. Μέσω μιας ιστορικής ανασκόπησης, εγείρονται ερωτήματα όπως γιατί η Τουρκία ακολουθεί αυτή την πολιτική, ποιοι είναι οι μελλοντικοί ενεργειακοί, και όχι μόνο, στόχοι της. Παράλληλα, αντίστοιχα ερωτήματα δημιουργούνται και για την Ελλάδα, η οποία προσπαθεί με κάθε τρόπο να κατευνάσει την Τουρκική προκλητικότητα. Συμπερασματικά, Ελλάδα και Τουρκία εμφανίζουν κοινά σημεία ενεργειακής πολιτικής, ωστόσο, η εξωτερική πολιτική και η επεκτατική συμπεριφορά της Τουρκίας, παραβιάζουν τους κανόνες του Διεθνούς Δικαίου και δυσχεραίνουν την συνεργασία των δύο χωρών αλλά και την εξέλιξή τους. Μέσα στα πλαίσια της κριτικής ανάλυσης της ενεργειακής ασφάλειας και πολιτικής Ελλάδας-Τουρκίας, των βασικών επιδιώξεων και εθνικών συμφερόντων, όπως και της κατανόησης των διαφορών και συγκρούσεων εντός της Ανατολικής Μεσογείου, μελετήθηκαν πληθώρα επιστημονικών βιβλίων και άρθρων.
