SG in Digital Era Becomes DESG: The Impact of DESG on Students’ Attitudes and Higher Education

Purpose: The study examines digital environmental, social and governance (DESG) impact on attitudes of students aiming to enhance students’ awareness digital environmental, social and governance (DESG) sustainability implementation agenda. Design/ Methodology/ Strategy: The study utilizes a quantitative approach, which involves a questionnaire constitutes of five conceptual constructs. 284 students responded to the survey. Results: Conceptual constructs named Digital environment pillar (DEP), Digital social pillar (DSP), Digital governance pilar (DGP) have a significant correlation with each other. Digital social pillar (DSP) and digital environmental, social and governance (DESG) conceptual construct have the strongest correlation. Originality/Value: The present study is presents original approaches of Greek students toward digital environmental, social and governance (DESG) regarding university. Limitations: Although studies pay attention on effectiveness and ESG performance regarding firms or brands, few analyze the impact of digital transformation of ESG on universities
